When i was a kid i used a wooden cotton reel with nails hammered in the top i made miles of cord but could never think of anything to make with it. I look forward to seeing your ideas for the cord. That gadget looks easier to hold than a little cotton reel

It looks like a good start, that loop stitch looks very neat with all your loops the same length. How are you getting on with that wooden hook, I have one or two that have all the decoration on it like that one, reminds me of the posts on stairs. I found it hard to hold but I think it was because I hold my hook like a pencil.
