All done by hand, every single bit of it. Not a sewing machine in sight. Just need to iron it and do a label for the back with name and dates but essentially its finished. This has been a long project, 8 months. In that time I have learnt all the stages of a traditional craft that goes back hundreds of years. I've had lots of fabulous encouragement from the Crafting-Friends ladies. I have made many new friends in the quilting world, both locally and overseas who have helped me with advice. Unfortunately the photos don't do this justice, its hard to see the quilting. This has been a pure joy. 😊
It looks great Sally-Ann you should be proud, are you going to do more quilts? It's very popular here, there are groups that all work together on a quilt too.
