I made this bag about a month ago, I just haven't gotten around to taking photos until now. It's a convertible sling bag. A sling bag is a newer style that can be worn a bit like a crossbody bag by the bag sits on your back rather than by your hip. You can also switch it around so it is sitting on your chest, this is useful if you are in a crowd and there is a worry that a pickpocket might open the bag without your knowing while on your back. By moving which side the strap is clipped onto you can adapt it for both left and right shoulder, if you move the straps so they clip into the top side rings you have a normal shoulder bag, and if you add an extra strap clip one side of both to the top centre clip and the other end of the straps to the two bottom rings it will convert into a hands free back pack. On the back you can see a popper, this is so if you convert to a shoulder bag, the top middle flap can be fastened down so it doesn't flap about.
The bag is quite small and compact, has a front zipped pocket that my phone fits into, an inside pocket and a slip pocket on the back. The pattern is from Kandou patterns, I really liked making it and I'm happy with the finished product, I would like another one a little bigger.
Very professional sarah , it's so purposeful just great for phone and some cash and won't be heavy
Great look. Compact and practical too.
Wow.....it's beautiful Sarah. I love the fabric. Gorgeous. x
Oh my goodness this must have taken ages, another beautiful bag. Love the little tag on the front, so professional - you need to get some printed with your name. x
