The cosy top is for my storage foot stool, half a row to finish to make it fit on either side and I am done I love doing Bavarian crochet as it grows so quick. This took me three mornings to do.

I would love to learn Bavarian crochet I love the added texture it has but it looks so complicated. Your colours work so well. It’s given me an idea for my own footstool. I have a big footstool I started to reupholster, I put a new piece of foam on the top and covered that and I just needed to do the sides but then my daughter announced she was pregnant with Aurin and I knew I’d be looking after him and Alia had used that footstool as a seat as a bed and as a table plus it was the perfect height to put a changing mat on and change her so it got a lot of use and a few spills. So knowing it would be the same with Aurin I stopped work on it threw a blanket over it and made a padded cushion with vinyl fabric on one side to fit the top to protect it. I’ve been wondering how to finish it and have it look nice but protect it
