This origami folded hexagon is ideal for English paper piecing, without the paper inserts. It’s like a Suffolk puff except it’s a hexagon and made entirely by hand put in your search engine “you tube origami folded fabric hexagon. I learnt how to do it in a half an hour this morning. I added a butterfly button . Sew them together to make an unusual basket your imagination is your only limit.

That is very pretty (except the butterfly, sorry they still creep me out) what are you going to do with it, I think you could make a pretty box out of fabric with plastic canvas inside to stabilise it and that could be the lid, it would look really pretty.
