This is made using a cereal box and is the initial stages of my next journal , I have used strips of fabric to cover the cereal box , working on closure now then on to the inside , before finalising cover

I buy lace on eBay sarah when it’s a bargain price . I love lace and usually go for job lots or lace from China is cheap
it’s very pretty, you must have so much lace, it’s quite hard to find here, one store I know sells it but they only have a handful of patterns and mostly white. When I made my sewing needle book I used a button and brightly colored hair elastic that matched the button color. I have also used the elastic hair bands the big ones that go over your head cut and the ends glued on the back cover to hold the book closed
