Lately I have seen a lot of names of people joining the site but they never interact. A lot of the site can be seen without becoming a member, you only need to become a member if you would like to interact, join in activities and post on the forum. So when I see names of people joining but don't interact I am not sure why they became a member and suspect them of being a bot or someone who wants to help maintain the site for a fee.
This site has NO advertising, we do not allow it, if you come here just to post a link to your own site it will be deleted and you will be removed from the site. If you join so you can contact me and ask me to contact you so you can help maintain the site for a fee, you need to know this site makes no profit, I asked for members to help cover the cost of the site and that is all, I do not make any money in any way from the site so there is little money to pay out for maintenance help.
If you have joined the site but are hesitant to say hello and interact, please do so soon. All you need to do is make a post saying who you are what kind of crafting you like and where you are in the world. OR, just comment on other peoples posts, tell people what you like about their makes, OR post a picture of something you have made. "People are more willing to comment on your posts if you comment on theirs", is a tip worth keeping in mind.
Anyone who has not interacted within the site in the next couple of weeks will be removed as a member, you will still be able to access the site, and you will be able to sign up as a member again, I just want to get rid of all the bot accounts and the people who came here just to post a link to their own website. I'm not trying to get rid of people who would like to be a part of this site
