I have been tieing up my aubergines on to cane sticks in the polytunnel and found this 9 inch long aubergine it weighs 1 1/2 pounds (or 600grams). So I have just peeled and salted it for half an hour rinsed it then put in microwave for 5 minutes to partly cook out on to a tray with parchment paper and in to freezer when frozen I can bag it up in zip lock bags to use when I want.
There are ten others growing in poly tunnel all at different sizes.
