Oh, YES! I had one of these - but it needed a boat shuttle and I didn't know here to get one ...sob, sob. So I parted with it.

I still remember fondly my old treadle too...

Great that it’s working lisa , it’s not got all the fragile bits that newer models have and no electronics to break down

I keep looking back at this, that machine would be great for making bags it looks plenty strong enough to go through several layers of fabric and interfacing and it has a lot of space underneath between the handle and the needle because when I make bags I'm always having to screw them up to twist them in all directions to sew a handle on or something and it's difficult with a machine that doesn't have space underneath.

My mom had a machine like that I believe my sister has it now. Even the wooden part at the bottom was the same. Can you still get spare parts for it like needles? I look forward to seeing what you do with it doesn’t look like it needs a whole lot

Yes I have got it sewing i watch a YouTube video on taking apart and cleaning it this is the stitching x
