Had my first burn notice with my instant duo pot , my own fault and I knew it could fail but I got too confident and made a chicken casserole and all the veg and potatoes at once and there just wasn’t enough liquid to generate pressure , I hope I might be able to salvage the meal if it doesn’t taste burnt . anyone else know if it’s going to be useable .

whenever i get the burn notification I just scrape the bottom it's usually just a small part sticking, the food is always fine, it seems to shout burn very easily. I have found a few things helped, first i spray the bottom of the pot with a oil to help against sticking, then I make sure I put enough water in, and I bought a new seal on amazon for the pot lid. I found the new seal was a bit heavier and more sturdy than the original and it stays in place better. The pot sometimes gives an error if that seal moves a bit and isn't in place correctly, the new seal gives me far fewer problems. I also bought another inner pot, the idea being if I got a burn notification I would just empty it all into the other pot and keep going, but now I think what might work better is if i just put half in one pot and half in the other, I think the instant pot has more problems with a full pot, even though I don't go over the fill line.
Commiserations, Liz! Don't know much about it, but my bet is it will taste fine. Maybe a little crunchy??
