I made this crumble filling, with the last of my Asian pears but you can make it with apples, I will use eating apples so the filling isn’t mushy as it would be with cooking apples. I pealed cored and cut into quarter chunks Asian pears, put them in to my instant duo pot with a cup of water, put lid on and pressed pressure button to do for 3 minutes. Quick release .
Let them cool down and put in to freezer bags and freeze. Do the same if you have a glut of eating apples. They cost two pence in electric to cook. Use for crumbles, pies, or just on there own with ice cream or custard.
